Re: Happygilmore's Saturday football
It’s beautiful that many media people were saying that Man Utd had a manager who would instil discipline and get them back where they belong.

He looks utterly lost to me, and now has players (Sancho) openly challenging him on social media.

Long may it continue!

Ended the game with Maguire and Evans at CB.

Could easily have lost all 4 games so far.

Be a long old season for Man Utd.

Genuinely could see Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle finishing outside the top 10.

That made me laugh to be fair

Re: Happygilmore's Saturday football
We all know rice is a huge talent but he’s decided to play for a rival London team time to move on.
For what it’s worth on todays evidence I’d be confident playing either team as there wasn’t a player on the pitch that stood out.
It’s time for us to get a bit cocky as we’ve got a decent hungry bunch of players with our outstanding supporters we might just surprise a few.
In reality it’s probably gonna go tits up.

Re: Happygilmore's Saturday football
Rice’s goal was clearly not an own goal. Nice to see that some of you are coping well with him leaving!

He’s still the outstanding footballer with a great personality who played for us. He’s just wearing another shirt now. It happens. He loved his time with us and loves West Ham, and he’ll now have that with Arsenal.

Ward-Prowse has said great things about us and was singing ‘Bubbles’ while walking around the ground after barely signing. Do you really think all of the love he has for Southampton has now gone? Of course not, but we pay his wages now.

I really like Rice, he’s one of my favourite players - and I hope he has a great career. I’m certainly not going to go down bitter street.

So far I’m more than happy with Ward-Prowses contribution for us over what Rice has done for Arsenal….he’s got an easy gig now…..

Rice’s was an own goal with that huge deflection

Paul - I thought this was the other games thread, can we only discuss players who haven't played for us before...

Good for him, got a bit lucky with the goal but I thought he played well.

Good to see Manchester United suffering.

We were too classy to use the Rice Rice Baby song blasted over the tannoy like today. Bit cringeworty.

Rice’s goal should be recorded as an own goal. I hope it does.

They did show the lines, but they looked too obviously offside to be anywhere near the reality of what happened.

I thought this season they were using bigger lines and to give benefit to attacker.
That was level at best.

Ten Hag questioning the offside
Obligation is to show the proof ... he DID look on with Gabriels bonce leaning forward.
The quality of the pics we see is average. Dont think they even showed the lines.

Yes, lets ask Mike Fucking Dean to clear things up

Re: Happygilmore's Saturday football
Commentators going on about how good Onana is with the ball at his feet and how he’d been Man Utds best outfield player in the first half.

Ridiculous. A keeper is primarily there to stop goals, and he is not very good at that.

Re: Happygilmore's Saturday football
Arsenal got lucky there.

Rice now saying number 6 is best spot. Two weeks ago he wanted to play further forward.

Decent game but neither will challenge City

Arsenal over celebrate as usual.
